“MGI-ARGE” is a professional single-clamp perfect binder with double gluing system.
Extremely compact, it contains a unique PUR glue extrusion system without any need for dried air or anhydrous air compressors, avoiding any contact with the air that could give rise to glue cross-linking processes. Ideal for small and medium runs, it guarantees high product quality in a short time and with low production costs.
This is the first perfect binder with these characteristics to use a system combined with 2 different types of glue usually used with higher-end perfect binders for the binding of the book block. Back in PUR glue (reactive polyurethane), Side in Hotmelt glue.
- Back gluing system made with a spreading head fed with PUR glue by a gear pump melter with variable speed and pressure.
- Glue melter designed to accommodate a 2kg cartridge intact in its packaging without the need to remove any wrapping, and connected to the spreading head with a heated tube.
- Melting of only the quantity of glue necessary to work in the machine, unlike other systems where it is always all melted at every start-up, causing it to lose its characteristics.
- Fusion system completely integrated into the machine, possibility of regulating the pressure and flow rate of the pump to guarantee homogeneous and constant spreading on the entire back of the book block automatically
- Color touch-screen operator panel. Italian language or at the customer's request, quick learning with simple symbols and step-by-step guide to the commands for using the machine.
- Lateral gluing applied to the sides of the book using two discs immersed in hot-melt glue contained in a tank separate from the PUR glue spreading head. This is in order to guarantee a greater shape retention of the book block and to be able to handle it in much shorter times than a paperback one completely in PUR.
- A rapid, innovative and automatic system is provided for cleaning the spreading head at each end of the work cycle.
This guarantees a rapid resumption of work when restarted without problems of clogging of the glue outlet channels and makes the operator's work simpler and more practical compared to other systems.
- The machine is equipped with a cover inserter with suction cups and loading from above. Stop creaser with possibility of regulating the engraving pressure.
